More Pull Petitions for Council, School Board Seats

Filing deadline for Nov. 8 election is Aug. 25

Five candidates have pulled petitions for the Beachwood City Council elections and three have pulled for School Board seats, according to the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections.

City Council incumbents Justin Berns, Fred Goodman, Mark Mintz and Mark Wachter and challenger Martin Horwitz have until Aug. 25 to collect at least 144 signatures and file their petitions to be placed on the ballot for four open council seats in the Nov. 8 general election.

Challenger Alec Isaacson has pulled a petition for School Board; he joins Steve Rosen and Joshua Mintz – both challengers – to compete for two open seats. They must collect 25 signatures each to file.
