$1,700 cash, credit card stolen from Bally lockers
Thursday, June 14, 9 a.m. — Three members reported that someone used a lock cutter to break into their lockers at Bally Total Fitness. One man reported that $1,500 cash was stolen from his wallet, another reported $200 cash stolen, and another man reported that his credit card was stolen.
Car fire evicts woman, baby from car
Thursday, June 14, 9:44 p.m. — Beachwood firefighters responded to a Monte Carlo on fire on Interstate 271 southbound near Harvard Road. Callers reported that a woman was standing next to the car, holding a baby. No one was transported to the hospital.
Man with concealed weapon arrested for drunken driving
Friday, June 15, 3:37 a.m. — A man was arrested on Fairmount Boulevard near Edgewood Road after an officer reports that her was swerving. During the arrest the officer found a knife with the man. He was arrested and charged with drunken driving and carrying a concealed weapon.
Man caught urinating in hotel stairwell
Saturday, June 16, 8:04 a.m. — A desk clerk at the Clarion Hotel called police after she spotted a man urinating in a stairwell at the hotel. Police found the man, who was not wearing shoes and unable to provide his name or a phone number. Police escorted the man off the property and the hotel did not pursue criminal charges.
