IN MY OPINION, THE BUS DRIVER WAS NOT WRONG FOR WHAT HE HAD DONE TO SHIDEA LANE BECAUSE SHE DREW FIRST BLOOD. SHE NOT ONLY PUT HER HANDS ON THE MAN MULTIPLE TIMES, BUT THEN SHE HAD THE NERVE TO SPIT ON HIM.......I THINK RTA SHOULD FILE A LAWSUIT AGAINST HER BECAUSE SHE ENDANGERED EVERYBODY ELSE'S LIFE ON THAT BUS WHEN SHE PUT HER HANDS ON THAT MAN WHILE HE WAS DRIVING......I DO NOT KNOW ANYBODY WHO WOULD ALLOW SOMEONE TO SPIT ON THEM AND NOT DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. EVERYONE WANTS TO SAY THAT SHE WAS A LADY AND HE SHOULDNT OF DID HER LIKE THAT BUT SHE OVERSTEPPED HER BOUNDARIES AS A WOMAN WHEN SHE SPIT ON THAT MAN!!!!!.....I AM A WOMAN MYSELF AND IF I DID WHAT SHE DID TO A MAN THEN I DESERVE TO GET EXACTLY WHAT SHE DID...,,#SAVE THE BUS DRIVER AND GIVE HIM BACK HIS JOB !!!!!

she was wrong to put her hands on him and then spit on him too? cmon..... However, he should have never argued with her. He was in charge of his bus, so he should have take charge from the get go! His should have stop the bus in the first place and take her off or call the police.
DO I feel sorry for her? no! Maybe just maybe I would have done the samething the bus driver did! I cant judge him until I am in that situation, SHE WAS WRONG!!!!!!!!!! WRONG!!!!!!!!!!! He should have never lost his job over this...

I'm a bus driver in a different state, we deal with different elements everyday! I don't feel he was wrong at all! Yes, he could have called PD! Look how long it takes the police to come and the passengers don't try to help the driver's out but if it's the other way around the passenger's will depend on the driver's to help!

in my state spiting on someone could be charged with attempted murder he did not know if she had Aides or what ! and she could have caused the deaths of not only the driver but every person on and off the bus, thank god he had the presence of mind to pull that bus off the road safely! glad he handled that he was not wrong!
