Home, pedestrian struck with paintballs
Tuesday, Nov. 29, 10:47 p.m. — A homeowner on Cedar Road reported that someone had shot the house with a paintball. Half an hour later a pedestrian reported that someone in a silver four-door sedan shot him in the arm with a paintball as he was walking down Chagrin Boulevard.
$100 stolen in Park Drive break-in
Wednesday, Nov. 30, 10:55 a.m. — Someone broke into Parker Clinic at 3733 Park East Drive and stole $100 in petty cash. Advantage Diagnostics, in the same building, also reported that the office had been broken into, but nothing was reported stolen.
Woman arrested, breaks jail fire sprinkler head
Thursday, Dec. 1, 3:11 a.m. — A woman was arrested at South Pointe Hospital on a Beachwood felony warrant. The police report states that she was uncooperative and broke a fire sprinkler head at the jail. She was charged with vandalism, disrupting public service and resisting an officer.
Laptop, iPod stolen from Agnon
Friday, Dec. 2, 4:50 p.m. — A woman reported that her son’s laptop and iPod Touch — together valued at $1,549 — were stolen from Agnon School.
$745 briefcase stolen from Nordstrom
Saturday, Dec. 3, 9:07 p.m. —A briefcase valued at $745 was reported stolen from Tumi on the lower level of Nordstrom at the Beachwood Place Mall.
Juvenile charged with shoplifting $234 of merchandise
Sunday, Dec. 4, 6:17 p.m. — A boy was arrested at Dillard’s at the Beachwood Place Mall and charged with shoplifting $243 of merchandise.
Police respond to attempted theft
Sunday, Dec. 4, 8:17 p.m. — A woman tried to steal over $700 of merchandise from Marshall's but fled before police arrived.
