In Search of Beachwood's Greatest People

You may have read our two local philanthropists who have given to - and schnorred for - countless local causes.

The couple wrote a book reclaiming the Hebrew word for begging, and we submitted the story to The Huffington Post for their Greatest Person of the Day series.

HuffPo loved the story and the Novembers were recognized on a national stage for their good work.

We want to see more Beachwood people on HuffPo, so we're asking you to nominate people for this series.

Greatest People come in many forms, and Patch sites around the country have found stories of people doing good for others.

Like this one, from Strongsville Patch, about a man who quit his six-figure job to volunteer in developing countries.

Or this one, from East Providence, RI, about a man who helped save his alma mater's middle school sports program.

There's no age requirement for Greatest People - check out this story about a 10-year-old who raised money for tornado victims.
