State Senator Nina Turner (D—Cleveland) has been a leading opponent of Ohio Republican efforts to defund Planned Parenthood, and her latest statement has turned some heads.
At a press conference yesterday, Turner, who represents voters in Beachwood, Shaker Heights, parts of Cleveland and several other communities, wore a shirt suggesting a new meaning for the acronym GOP: Get Out of my Panties, the Huffington Post reported.
Ohio Public Radio and Television reporter Jo Ingles Tweeted the photo Tuesday afternoon.
Do you agree with Turner's sentiment? Take our poll, and tell us more in the comments!

While I do not support abortion, I support a woman's right to make an informed decision. There should be more emphasis on education so that abortion is not used as birth control, however, we do not want to return to the days of women, young girls, self-aborting with coat hangers and other methods.Planned Parenthood offers more information and can be a vehicle for counseling a women in crises.

ilinda either you support abortion or you don't obvisouly you do And who will contend for the rights of the child? It is cowardly to carry out most abortions. Since one can not see the child nor speak to the child it becomes no more than a common removal of a "growth". Why do we insist on paying for someone's mistake. If you want to have the fun there is a consequence and society and the child should not be the ones to pay. It is the responsiblity of TWO parties who created this human life to nurture and raise the child. But today we say "if it feels good do it", regardless of consequences. What can be said for society that would kill the most innocent of it's Citizens? Not much
