Forced Entry, Mysterious Craigslist Post: Beachwood Blotter

Incidents reported to the Beachwood Police Department on April 23 and 24

Office break-in on Chagrin

Monday, April 23, 9:42 a.m. — Police responded to an office break-in at Corporate Search Consultants, a firm within an office on Chagrin Boulevard. The report indicates the forced entry could have occurred at some point between April 20 and April 23. Signs of breaking and entering were found on a first-floor door.

Suspicious listing posted online

Monday, April 23, 3:08 p.m. — A woman went to the police station to report an unwanted listing online. The Penshurst Drive resident report that someone placed an unwanted listing of her home on Craigslist.com.

Pricey headphones stolen from gym

Monday, April 23, 10:42 p.m. — A man called police to report that his headphones had been stolen from Life Time Fitness. The headphones cost $350. The man believed they were stolen between 9:50 and 10:30 p.m.
