Employee Charged with Stealing Copper from Eaton Construction Site: Beachwood Blotter

Beachwood Police incidents, July 18 to 21

 

The following information was supplied by the Beachwood Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Wednesday, July 18, 10:08 p.m. — Police banned a woman from returning from Giant Eagle after they say she was caught stealing plants from the store. Police said the plants were returned and the store did not press charges against the woman.

Friday, July 20, 3:10 p.m. — A construction employee was arrested and charged with stealing $900 of copper wire from the Eaton construction site on Eaton Boulevard.

Saturday, July 21, 2:27 a.m. — The Residence Inn reported the theft of a laptop and camera valued at $950. The items were later recovered, the report states.
