Council Sends Apartment Proposal to P&Z

Planning and Zoning will review ordinances that would allow apartment at Green Road and Chagrin Boulevard

Beachwood City Council referred to the Planning and Zoning Commission ordinances that would allow an apartment building to be built at Green Road and Chagrin Boulevard at Tuesday's meeting.

Council  that would change the zoning of the parcel to one that would allow the apartments.

Two ordinances — one to create a zoning district for planned multi-family development and one to change this parcel to that zoning — were put before council to refer to the Planning and Zoning Commission.

After P&Z’s review and if the commission recommends it to council, council members will read it twice more and hold a public hearing, then take a final vote.
