Beachwood School Principal Confiscates Drug Paraphernalia

Beachwood Police incidents Feb. 25 and 26

 

The following information was supplied by the Beachwood Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Drug paraphernalia confiscated at school

Monday, Feb. 25 — The principal at Beachwood High School confiscated drug paraphernalia — a portable scale, a grinder, a pipe* and a lighter — during a locker search at the school. He turned the items over to police but the teen is being punished by the school in lieu of criminal charges.

$3,100 jacket stolen

Monday, Feb. 25, 7:45 p.m. — Police reported a grand theft — a designer jacket worth $3,100— at Nordstrom. No suspect was arrested.

Men arrested after shoplift

Monday, Feb. 25, 10:35 p.m. — Two men were arrested at the Beachwood Place Mall after police say one tried to steal sunglasses valued at $150 and the other was found to have an active arrest warrant from Wickliffe Police.

Woman has arrest warrants from three police departments

Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2:02 p.m. — A woman was arrested with warrants from three police departments after police say she tried to steal bracelets from Dillards valued at $118.
