Even with snow and single-digit temperatures, some in Beachwood are already planning for the summer.

The city has opened registration for five summer camps — Bison, KIDZ, Sports, Teen Adventure and Theater. Most camps have 175 spots with only a few claimed so far.

While the camps require in-person registration, you can click here for a listing of classes, fees and available slots from Beachwood Community Services.

Prices vary, but the city is offering "early bird" discounts for those who register by March 8. Residents can pick up packets or register at the recreation office during regular hours, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Non-residents can sign up beginning March 11.
