Beachwood High School Start Time Discussed at Board Meeting
Three BHS students took issue with the proposed earlier start time at Monday's meeting.
A few Beachwood High School students took issue with a proposed earlier first bell at the Board of Education meeting Monday, the Sun News reports.
The district proposed at its last meeting changing the arrival and dismissal times for its schools to help make the bus routes more efficient.

The proposal would also combine the high school and middle school routes.
The Sun News reports that senior Jon Sender spoke for himself and two other students with him in questioning a proposed 7:40 a.m. start time for Beachwood High School.
The school day begins at 8 a.m. now.
The proposal would impact other schools as well, most notably adding nearly an hour to the Bryden Elementary School day. See all the proposed times here.
