A Beachwood firefighter was injured in a fire that left two dead in Shaker Heights this morning.

Shaker Heights Fire Chief Kevin Jacobs said that two firefighters - one from his department and one from Beachwood's - were injured.

The Shaker Heights firefighter was treated and released from Ahuja Hospital, he said.

He was unaware of what the Beachwood firefighter's condition is.

Firefighters from departments including Cleveland Heights, Beachwood, University Heights, Euclid, East Cleveland, Richmond Heights and Lyndhurst responded to help fight this blaze.
