Beachwood could soon be the home to a special Alzheimer's memory care center.

The city's Planning and Zoning Commission will hear more about JEA Senior Living Inc.'s plans for the center to be located on Harvard Road. Carl Sanders, director of development for Vancouver, Wash.-based JEA, will request preliminary site plan approval.

Equity Planning, the firm that owns the building at 3355 Richmond Road, will request site approval for a change in the rear entry door for Salon Lofts, a company that is expanding throughout Northeast Ohio.

The meeting begins at 7 p.m. at Beachwood City Hall.
