To celebrate Martin Luther King, Jr. Day and Black History Month, West African native Sogbety Diomande performs at The Agnon School during a special educational assembly.
West African performer Sogbety Diomande teaches Agnon students one of his native dances during a lively 45-minute performance at The Agnon School to celebrate Martin Luther King, Jr. Day and Black History Month.
Agnon students enjoy meeting West African native Sogbety Diomande after experiencing his invigorating musical program and learning about village life.

Agnon students heard drums from West Africa in celebration of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

Sogbety Diomande, a West African native, performed drum music, dances and songs and taught the students about village life. The progam was sponsored by Young Audiences of Northeast Ohio.

Diomande has danced with the Ballet National de Cote d'Ivoire, the Kotchgna Dance Company and many U.S. troupes.
