Sign up for the first Funniest Rabbi contest at Maltz

The Maltz Museum of Jewish Heritage is sponsoring its first Funniest Rabbi contest, which will be held from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. March 16. Tickets $15 each; blocks of 20 or more are available for $10 each.

Area rabbis are invited to perform short, humorous routines and compete for prizes and bragging rights.  Signed on to date are Rabbis Ed Bernstein (Shaarey Tikvah), Matt Eisenberg (Temple Israel ner Tamid), Eddie Sukol ( The Shul), Danny Roberts (emeritus Temple Emanu El), and retired Rabbi and Museum docent Bud Frankel.

First place receives $300, second receives $200 and third gets $100.
